Right now we have quite a few old oil paintings by an unknown artist. We are unsure of the best way to sell them. A few sold on ebay but not for very much and maybe that is the going rate, but some of them are wonderful, quite old oil paintings. The problem is there are thousands of old oil paintings on ebay and how to get yours seen and stand out from others. I read somewhere that in a case like this, it would be better to take pictures of the art and send them to various trustworthy art dealers to see if you have any items that are really standout. Some of the art we have is signed, but I have such a time deciphering some of the signatures, whereas a known art dealer may easily be able to tell who it is.

It was a bitter cold morning. The sun was shining but the frost on the grass and the smokey exhale belied the true temperature. I was in the warehouse trying to find items to sell and my hands were freezing. My dad was late and as the minutes crept by, I was getting more and more teed off. And then just when I had determined I was going to be really annoyed with my dad and that it was not going to be a good day, I saw the most wonderful site: Large, fuzzy wonderful gloves. The kind of gloves that are pretty much the same thing as a roaring fire. Crisis averted! Pictures of the gloves to follow. I am sorry, we will not be selling them on ebay. As my dad said, you could walk down the streets of Detroit, wearing those gloves at midnight and no one would bother you. They are pretty awesome. I also want to wear them and tap the back of someone's sholder and say in a really low voice, "Excuse me." Also on a different note, I've decided to make a weekly report of something I've found interesting on the news: Although Koko is and always will be my favorite monkey (Koko that genius gorilla known for her remarkable sign language (when she didn't know the sign for ring, she signed finger bracelet) as well as appearing on a touching episode of Mr. Rogers) there is a new contender for second favorite monkey: Santino. Santino has shown scientists that humans aren't the only ones to plan ahead. He wakes up early everyday in his Norway (don't have the article with me, it may be Sweden) Zoo and collects rocks that he fashions into discs and waits patiently until visitors arrive. He then proceeds to throw the rocks at them when they get too close. Fortunately no one has been hurt, monkeys or maybe just Santino don't have good aim.
